REIZENDE LETTERS DOOR EUROPA — a poetry 'newspaper' about traveling in Europe.

I invited several poets to write about their favorite place or a vacation spot that left a lasting impression on them. You can unfold it like a map, adding an extra connection to the idea of travel.

I worked with collage techniques, cutting and pasting letters from the front and back covers. The 'illustration' of the ice cream, featuring the text "tutti frutti ice, the view was pretty nice", was created in the same way.

REIZENDE LETTERS DOOR EUROPA — een poëzie-‘krant’ over reizen in Europa. Samen met verschillende dichters schreven we over onze favoriete plek of een vakantie bestemming die een blijvende indruk op ons heeft achtergelaten. Je kunt de 'krant' openvouwen als een kaart, wat een extra verbinding toevoegt aan het idee van reizen.

Ik werkte met collage-technieken, waarbij ik de voor- en achterkant heb ontwikkeld door de 'krant'. De ‘illustratie’ van het ijsje, met de tekst "tutti frutti ice, the view was pretty nice", is ook met knippen en plakken ontstaan.
